We source unique single barrels from top distillers nationwide. Members get first access to these limited releases, often before anyone else, ensuring every pour is special and worth savoring.

The Kansas City Bourbon Club is a curated community of bourbon lovers who care about more than just what’s in the glass. We’re not chasing numbers or status. We’re here to build something real: a tight-knit, generous crew of bourbon lovers who show up, give back, share what they’ve got, and have a damn good time doing it. This isn’t about exclusivity, it’s about intention.
Barrel #55809. One of the only Elmer T. Lee barrel picks ever done. And it belongs to KCBC.
In 1984, Elmer T. Lee introduced the world’s first commercially available single barrel bourbon. The man is a legend. His bottle is allocated for a reason. His barrel picks are almost nonexistent.
We flew to Frankfort. We walked the rickhouse. Buffalo Trace gave us four barrels to nose blind — and when Lot 17A, Barrel 55809 hit the glass, filled January 19, 2017, the room knew.
That’s ours.
This isn’t just a bottle. It’s for our members, our community, and the nonprofits we pour for every single event.

The azaleas are blooming, the golf world is locked in, and somewhere between Amen Corner and another Sunday charge… Pursuit dropped their first-ever Sakura Bloom Bourbon — and it disappeared faster than a missed 3-footer.
Sold out almost instantly.
But KCBC? Yeah… we got our hands on a few bottles. 👀
